Gift 117 is a non profit ministry based on James 1:17. Everything good
comes from the Lord. Healing, peace, mercy, forgiveness, hope, and purpose
are all a gift from Him.

" When I was 12 years old I was molested by a neighbor. I hated myself, God, and everyone else. Due to this hate and anger I started cutting. My mom made me go to counseling kicking and screaming. Kym was different than other counselors. She helped me to heal from my hurt, forgive, and move on with my future. I also discovered who I am in Christ and gave him my life! -AH "
" For a long time, I struggled with money not that I didn’t have enough to live on, but I was so scared of spending it. I was constantly saving every penny I could to save up for unknown future expenses. It was to the point where I would purposely sacrifice my own happiness to save a quick buck. I would purposely blow off plans with friends and family so that I could hoard the money I was going to spend away. Realizing how miserable and unfulfilled I was in my life and also realizing that my fear of spending was pushing away the people closest to me I contacted Jodi for help. Jodi helped a lot with my problem and in just a few sessions we came up with a plan on how to handle my finances with a spending plan, make healthy financial decisions, and change my perspective on money so that I wouldn’t fear spending and I could enjoy the money I have been blessed with.
